Elliott jumped at the nearest car, gripping the handle of the door. With a huge surge of power, he ripped the door clean off the car, and the car sped away uncontrollably. The Black Angel general spun around and threw the door at the flying person with great force. It spun like a frisbee and shot straight at the man, its sharp metal edges cutting through the wind.
The wind was still pushing against his body fast, cutting him like a cold knife. He was pushing his limits, and the end result of pushing his limits was never a good thing. There was a flash of pain, and Adrian dropped a near fifty feet as he reached for his forehead, the source of the pain.
The most he could do was spit out a "Tch" of pain, and flew forward more, one eye closed against the splitting headache that was his mind. It was at this point that Adrian risked a glance back down at the ground. His sight wasn't the best from so far away, but he could always tell when there was an experiment nearby, no matter how faintly it was. And this source of power was much larger than anyone else's. It was clearly one of the generals of the loyalist experiments.
"It has to be him...I can already smell that disgusting- SHIT!" Adrian shifted his body in mid-air, an airborne corkscrew as a large black object nearly gut his body in half. His vision erupted in a sea of white, and Adrian looked up at whatever it was that hit him - a big black shield. No, it was a car door!
Adrian angrily looked back downward at his assailant. Luckily for him, Elliot couldn't fly. At least not to Adrian's knowledge. But still, he couldn't stay airborne forever, otherwise...well more of them would come.
With his remaining strength, Adrian flew back upward to the still flying disc that was the car door, and grabbed it with his one good hand. He spun himself quickly in a circle, and hurled it back into the direction of his attacker. The second he let go, Adrian's body cringed, and he noticed that the car door had done more than just frighten him.
The left side of his torso was split from his naval to his armpit. The sight made Adrian's stomach churn, and he again felt himself losing altitude. If he were to pass out, Elliot would surely find him and bring him back to the BAO. There was only one option.
Adrian hesitated only for a second, the searing pain in his side drove him onward, and he reached back into his jacket pocket for his phone.
"if we ever need each other in a moment of absolute danger...hit it"
"..d....damn Thanos...."
He pressed the buttons on his phone, hoping to reach someone who would be able to find him before Elliot could. He saw his fingerprints leave blood on the buttons he pressed, but began to lose consciousness as he pressed them, and hastily put it back into his pocket. He didn't know who he called. It didn't matter.
Unfortunately for him...he didn't ring someone he had a very nice relationship with. He turned and saw a tall apartment complex below him, and landed harshly, his body falling on its good side almost immediately.
It was Tira he paged....
