Why do people cheat?

If love exists, then why do people cheat? Thoughts?

people get bored, their partner loses their appeal. think about it this way. their new partner is a new car. new car smell, new tires, new upholstery, etc;...over time, like a vehicle, the partner loses their luster.

Well yes but then that does lead to what you were saying. Things getting old. In all honestly you wanna find someone who matches your sex drive. Coz your hand or toys can only do so much for some people and they will end up straying.

Simple, people cheat b/c they have no self control no self respect for themselves or respect their significant other.

In my case it was because the person was selfish.

But I'd have to apply that to everyone who cheats, they only care about themselves and what they can get.

People cheat because people want something new. They get tired of just loving one person, when this other person is what they have always wanted, blah blah blah, you know the deal.
