Why do people cheat?

OH my god, I just remembered this story my old friend Joe told me, where he had sex with this one chick, and he found out she was married after it, and she had said she was single. So she called off the wedding, and came back to Joe's front porch, expecting him to take her in, and he totally shut the door in her face 😂

I've never cheated, never even thought about it while being in a relationship, but all of my boyfriends except one that I know of, did cheat on me. shrug Am I really that bad? I'll never really know. Sucks.
