If that's the case, then why do they stay with that person and cheat on them? Why not break it off without having to hurt the other person?

They love more than one person.

I've always wondered this.

Sometimes I guess they care about the person they're with but they also have feelings for the other person.. and they don't think about the hurt it causes or something.

my ex slept with my best mate ermm
They were both selfish f*ckers who didn't care about me tho.

Still, I think if you are going to cheat, break it off with whoever you're with. Why cause more hurt, I've been cheated on and I would have rather been dumped then cheated on.

word, i feel you man.. I guess i havent technically been cheated on it, cause we lived far apart, and we werent together that long anyway, and she was whore, who was even using her best friend to take her places to meet other guys ...(of course I didn't know any of this shit at the time) and it turned out she was just using me for the thing in my pants, like all the other guys she had been with...but one thing that killed me was how she kept trying to pull me back..despite having like 4-5 guys on the side... its like why pull me back into the circle?

see if they get together with someone they don't love, then they're stupid enough to cheat on them.

fukking eh.

Bump

OK.....

There are many many reasons for it to occur, some are very simple and idiotic, while others are complex and intricate... you'll never get them all, but some of the most common ones are that they are adventurous, or lack will and control of their implulses, some simply don't think their own actions through before violating their relationships = (Perhaps the most common of all.)

You'll hear from guys all the time that "Sorry baby! I didn't mean it!" while it's technically true, what he's really saying is 'Help me, I'm a moron who can help but to think with my D!ck! Pity me!'

Others start getting more and more elaborate and unbeleivable... I won't bother to list those because ome that I've heard of are absolutely outrageous and unbeleivable, and sound like something found in a hollywood flick...

Personally, I don't have a GF right now, and thats simply because of the job/s I do, I don't want anyone I care about to worry wether or not I'm even going to come home...

Thats a choice though, not a commitment, I cannot understand guys who simply take their relationships for granted, and then get all torn up when they collapse like a 5 cent house built out of poker cards.

or the ones who dont even give a rats ass as it crumbles down around them.

Yeah... or the ones that get abusive and become control freaks....

I feel you on the abusive part.

That actually makes me more angry than almost anything else to do with relationships... I had a friend, well... an EX-friend who actually abused his fiancee and his son right in front of me...

I ended up putting him through his plaster wall from the lounge room into his bedroom for it...

alot of people dont agree that there are different types of cheating.
