First of all SBP wins ....and with ease.
However, let's look at some of the points some have brought up:
1) Planet-busting punches:
True, a punch that can mess up a planet is HUGE. However, one has to realize that a standard Kryptonian can do great damage to a planet. Take Superman (note: POST CRISIS ....no need to go to the pre-crisis variant) was so angry about Luthor's presidential win that he flew out into space, and flew across some moon's surface (either Jupiter or Saturn), cutting a huge gash across the moon as he flew.
That is post-crisis Superman.
SBP is far more amped than that .....basically Silver-age level (i.e. planet mover etc).
If 'normal' Superman can gash a moon, then SBP can surely destroy a planet if he wanted to.
2) Reality altering/dimension breaching punches (and they have altered realities, e.g. Jason Todd; and broken dimensions, e.g. the SpeedForce):
For that matter, a reality altering punch ranks higher than a planet-buster. I could go deeper into that (e.g. breaking out of dimensions as well as the Speed Force), but it is really moot getting into that. Suffice it to say, SBP is operating at a much greater level than Champion.
3) But Champion has beaten Gladiator:
Well, that is like me saying a pitbull could kill a lion because that same pitbull chased a housecat up a tree.
Gladiator and SBP are not in the same league.
4) Then there is the fact that this would degenerate into an amped-up version of Hulk vs Superman. As in a solid brick with excessive strength, against a solid brick with excessive strength who also has a truck-load of other powers and abilities.
Who would win in such a case?
Sure, there have been cases of bricks with ONLY strength stopping multi-dimensional characters, but that is largely PIS.
If you have two characters of prodigious strength, but one character also has a load of other abilities, then the first character is at a distinct disadvantage. This point has been debated to death in the Hulk vs Superman thread, and there is no need to get further into it apart from saying that Champion vs SBP would be an advanced level of Hulk vs Superman.
Conclusion:
Anyways, let's put it like this. There is really no way that SBP can lose against the Champion (gem or not) in a non-PIS/CIS situation.
For one the Champion would never be able to lay a finger on SBP (if he can go fast enough to make Flash's notice then his speed levels are simply beyond comprehension), and SBP would also have a lot of other advantages.
If it makes people comfortable I will not say SBP wins 10/10 ....what I will say is that Champion will win 0/10 (for the simple fact that the Champion will not even be able to TAG SBP).
Thus, Champion wins ZERO/10.

3) Thanos has forcefields. Hulk has purple pants. Big deal.

I'm not hulk fanboy. I hate when people hate a character only because he is the strongest one around. My favourite is Thor but i have no problem in admitting that current hulk is way above any version of thor.
