You know come to think of it,

has a Celestial ever been defeated (without PIS - *cough* Invisible Girl)
other than by THOTI and that Alternate Franklin Richards who is equal to them?

I don't remember a Celestial ever getting punked,
except in those two (non-pis) occasions.

The energy it takes to create a single Celestial rivals that of a universal Big Bang.

Dude, it says on the panel that it only destroyed the Black Galaxy. Which was impressive, but not beyond the capabilities of Imperiex Prime.

Excellent point

I know what it said T,
but just because the explosion was contained within the Black Galaxy
doesn't mean it didn't rival a Big Bang within that enclosure.

I mean, I'm sure Eternity wouldn't be to happy,
if everytime a Celestial is born,
an Aspect of his (an entire Universe) gets destroyed.

Eternity 616, who is the core of the Multiverse,
blasted Thanos/HOTI with all the power he could muster,
and only the Planet Thanos was on was obliterated:

Surely your not going to suggest that,

"all the fury Eternity (616 no less) could muster" = the destruction of a single Planet.

LOL! Don't tell me that Eternity's full power is only capable of busting a planet (Well I have rarely seen people in Marvel bust planets FULLY without some augmentation)???

At the moment, it looks like hyperbole. It may have appeared to rival the big bang, but when compared with characters who actually can create big bangs, or wield equivalent levels of power, and when taking into account the celestials's feats, it appears to be hyperbole.

Now, maybe within the Black Galaxy, the blast was equal to a big bang, but we can't sure it wasn't hyperbole.

imperiex prime couldnt create the big bang when he had opposition. he doesnt do it there either when his opposition is much greater than what he faced in dc.

How big was the big bang, Trick?

Powerful enough to spread matter infinitely.

By who's standards?

But that doesn't say how big it was, which is Trick's whole argument.

For all we know, the power to create the Celestial would have expanded indefinitely as well, if it hadn't condensed back into the form of a Celestial.

Eternity > Imperiex and the Celestials!

I never seen Imperiex or the Celestials destroy a planet with their OWN POWER!!!

Care to post scans then????

Don't say Imperiex can destroy planets or even the universe, he can't do that without his technology/probes and prep. I have never see nthe Celestials destroy a planet with raw power like Eternity??

No, actually.

Go read comics involving them.

Plus, they were whipping planets at Thanos when he had the IG.
