Is rock dead and/or dying?

no, rock and roll is not dead or dying

bit of a naive question if you ask me. rock and roll isnt dead, its getting better and better.

its all taste and opinion though when it gets down to it. if you like rock from a certain time period and arent open to new styles or sounds than you probably do think that its dead/dying, unfortunately.

rock isnt dying, no.... but it is getting less heavy. there are still some heavy bands, dont get me wrong, but bands that used to be heavy are getting a lot softer. a perfect example is korn. i have nothing against them and i love them to death but JD does sing a lot in the new album and there are a lot less breakdowns. i like the old korn much better. and this is just an example of one band, and many are doing the exact same thing.

No, but it implies it has just as much chance of staying as Christianity.

Maybe more since religion IS dying.
