"One shotted him?"
More like THREE Shots!

Phoenix (Rachel Summers who MERGED/became One with the Force)
vs a STARVING Galactus:
They meet:
....................................................................................................
Hit one!
Phoenix attacks first,
she explodes Galactus' converter and blows Galactus away:
....................................................................................................
Galactus goes down on one knee, gets back up and attacks Phoenix,
Phoenix blocks his attack:
....................................................................................................
Hit Two!
Phoenix lets out a omni-blast,
Galactus blocks the attack:
....................................................................................................
Galactus strikes again,
Phoenix again blocks Galactus' attack:
....................................................................................................
Hit Three!
Phoenix strikes Galactus in the face with a uni-blast:
....................................................................................................
STARVING Galactus finally goes down,
this is when Phoenix makes her quote:
"You have NOT the Strength to Continue this conflict"

Galactus was weak but this was also a weak PF version. JeanPF>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>RachaelPF.
Actually on panel, the Rachel that fought that STARVING Galactus
was everything Jean became afterwards:
The Phoenix Force tells Rachel:
"ALL I have become, You ARE Too"
"My Essence is Bonded to Your Spirit, the Burden of Power, will be YOURS"
... Again ....
The Phoenix Force itself told Rachel:
"You are the ONE TRUE Phoenix"
....................................................................................................
Rachel was never weak,
in fact,
Rachel = Jean
Like mother, like daughter.
