The Forum rules do say that characters cannot start a fight with shields up.
In such a case, Superman could literally vaporize Strange.
I know that given a second Strange could do all sorts of NASTY on Superman, but per forum rules (no pre-shields, plus a blood-lusted Superman who is out to simply obliterate, PLUS the distance between them) would Strange ever get that second?
Strange can definitely take out Superman ...and in MANY ways.
But with the stipulations given on this thread (namely, NONE, meaning that it reverts to standard forum rules) Strange wouldn't have a chance.

The good Doctor pwns Superman with no effort. Takes little to no time for Stephen to come up with a restraining spell or whatever spell he wants to use against Supes. Being the Sorceror Supreme has its benefits, he could always call on the power of the Vishanti if he needed to. Supes could not speedblitz a Sorceror with spells to counteract against that method of attack. Bear in mind also that Stephen cannot die unless he wills himself. 9/10 for Dr. Strange.
