I live in the Caribbean- I'm sick of beaches. They're practically around every corner- happens when you live on a small ass island. Even so, I rarely go anymore.

I can kind of relate to that. I grew up on the coast so going to the beach is no biggy for me, however I live in-land now and I do miss the sea-view and smell of the air blowing in off the sea. As for sex on the beach, well that just causes sooo many uncomfortable complications...

Hotel Housekeeper? ๐I'm supposed to be getting a job, possibly today, for a first shift hotel room housekeeper. I have NO cleaning experience at all and...I'm not good with making beds. I'm screwed!!! Anyone else had this job before? Lol...I'm kinda..nervous.
i have done that, it was very hard work. dont do it if you dont have to. it sucks.

Hmm..What made it hard for you? ๐ฌYeah I'll have to get the job if they call me but the good thing is that I won't have to be there but for a week to a month.
i worked at a five star hotel, 'cept for making those HUGE beds [there are more ways to do that depending on whether the guest is still there or not] you have to clean every little ****ing piece of the interior which means 8 or more hours of constant physical work... lot of silly details.. and youre being controlled too.. blah sdkljflkdshf! bathrooms are the worst.. the whole room has to shine, there were seven different sorts of towels, i had to fold each one in a different way.. top of it all i had to work very very fast
it sounded easy to me first, but it wasnt, and the paid sucked too well at least to me. i quit the job soonermmnone

๐ Damn, I wonder if it'll be any different at Best Western, lol. I'm not sure I'll get controlled though, except for the first few days for training, then I'm on my own. I don't think they go around checking all of the rooms, I think they leave it up to the customers of the rooms to complain whether the room was fine or not.
that would be cool. but in my hotel, the assistants go and check all the rooms before the guest comes so they can make you go back and fix whatever you might have left undone.srug and they do it all the time, not just your first few days

๐We got a deal. ๐ I'll hold ya to it. ๐
I'd rather live on the coast in the UK than in the Caribbean... Especially Cornwall. ๐ And yeah, I imagine. vin
Oh by the way I didn't get that job. w00t
