It's easier to lie to someone who you are never going to meet.
You'll notice people are alot ruder online. ITs because they don't have to worry about reprucussions as much. People are alot more polite offline. Politeness is a form of not being yourself and trying to make the best impression.
But what if you do plan to meet them, sock? What then?

It's always easier to tell the truth if you actually intend any kind of relationship with someone in reality. I do not view the internet as reality. It is no more reality than Madonna taking up the Kaballah.

That's the position I'd expect a trolling sock to take. There's no reason to lie to someone you wouldn't hesitate to meet in the "real world". Now, if a person exists online simply to take advantage of how easy it is to lie, that's another story.

You wound me Sir. Who said I was a trolling sock. I'd choose not to meet most people on here for other reasons.
