There really is know way to say who is stronger between the two. It's all a matter of wich writer is writing them. Plus when the two fight each other, venom usually is playing the role of the hero and it doesn't matter who is stronger the hero always wins!

That's not always true but my favorite of the two is definitely Venom.

Yeah, each time a symbiote reproduces, the offspring eventually becomes stronger than the parent.

Yeah, I know. Carnage tried to kill him because he hated the idea of reproducing but his plans were thwarted. I think it'd be cool for Toxin to be featured in comics more prominently.

Not really. Five symbiotes were forcefully spawned from the venom symbiote by the Life Foundation. Maybe the symbiote wasn't ready to give birth, or maybe their powers are each one fifth and would add up to toxin's.

Either way, toxin is the most powerful, but venom is by far the coolest. 😄

even so, a spawn should be able to carry more strength then venom, the fact they don't means they can be weaker and stronger.

Well Carnage has been toned down, Venom can crush him easily now.

I guess my perception would be that all naturally spawned symbiotes were originally intended (by the writers) to be stronger than their predecessors. I don't know.

Maybe the crushage is due to Venom's absorption of the Venom clone and the Carnage symbiote?

Maybe, that or inconsistency on the writers part.

Yea, I've always hated that. Like when Superman needed Spider-Man's help against Venom. 🙄

I hate when writers are inconsistent. They need to learn that it makes the stories boring, not fun.

Carnage would destroy them all. Its facts. He is just better.
