But your conjecture was only that Thanos had never met someone like Ds. You provided no examples in Thanos history to support your claims. We had to examine their losses. No where did you show me in Thanos's history that speed and power were something he couldnt deal with. He pwned the Fallen One and the Silver Surfer like nothing. He was in control the whole time and they had no chance. Both of them are very powerful and Thanos knew how to deal with them and their versatility. We could not look at their wins and wins alone. Thanos hung in there with a being of infinite power the Maker physically. Trading blows and hurting her. How is that not impressive? Sure he raped her mind. But the really impressive thing was that he took her power head on and hurt the shit out of her.
With regards to the Spectre showing. He hurt the Spectre and big deal. Lots of other characters have. When Ds was pwned he was pwned hard. Thanos was never physically like destroyed like Ds in any of his losses.
