I dont think people like spider-man and the surfer will fight each other, but heroes like that would help guide you and give you missions. In some cases they might help you fight villains. For example if you have a long series of missions given to you by professor X and it culminates in a battle with The Blob, colossus might escort you on the quest and help.

Also, the storylines will follow actual comic storylines. For example, Captain America had he been alive when the game was released he would have died in the game when it happened in the comic. Or if for example, another onslaught type storyline occurs, the same thing would happen in the game.

Interesting. Sounds fun.

Though I'd be just as happy with straight deathmatching and tournament-style stuff. Fighting A.I. villians wouldn't be nearly as fun as annoying the hell out of a real person by jumping around like a schizo as Spidey.

haha, well you could still do that . . . group up with a team of other people before a big battle against a villain like juggernaut and instead of participating just jump up and down while you watch them die. Or better yet, do a /dance and watch your character do the moonwalk while juggernaut slams your party members into the ground. Thatll get them annoyed lol

wow leveling isnt borin imo, its pretty quest driven, but yea this is pretty much the same
