They have yet to come up with a scenario in which Superman wins. All they have argued is what the Silver Surfer can't do to Superman. That's all anyone who argues on Superman's behalf ever does, with the exception of a few more intelligent debaters.

did you see what weak ass cosmic blast did to thor? He got Knock the f@ck out. Now add the same thing 10 times bigger you think superman will be standing after that?
and you are right people here are saying he can't do that , or this.
here is what they said so far:
-heat vision (hahaha)
-strengh ( look at the scans , if thor can't take it , superman will fall eventually)
-Superman is not slow ( i know that , but surfer is faster)
and they started saying well the thing , Rhino has punched SS.
read his comic he is talking , trying to not kill. (he is budha lol)

We've seen how inteligent Molecule Man's posts have been. He thinks Superman will beat Surfer with one punch. He says speed isn't everything. I'm sure if this were a "vs. The Flash," thread, it would be another story. On this forum, speed is everything.
Some of our less intelligent peers can't seem to grasp that concept. They are comparing Surfer's full potential to the effort he has shown against minuscule foes such as Thing or Rhino in his comics. He never uses his full speed when battling lesser foes.
Surfer gets punched in comics the same way Flash does. In an all out fight, it won't happen.
To be quite honest with everyone here posting, i think its a stalemate. Anyone ever think of that. I dont think they can do harm to each other. Even if SS tries to absorb Supes solar energy, he'll just get it back from the Sun again. Physically, I think Superman is stronger than Surfer, but im not to sure if it will come down to a pure fist fight. I say draw.
