Actually, Surfer can manipulate organic matter or transmute people. He does so very rarely; he has vowed not to kill. He once turned Impossible Man into Wolverine. If you have every Silver Surfer comic, you should know this.

According to Draco69, (who knows just about everything about the JLA,) Triumph drained the solar energy from Superman's body in JLA #31. Kgkg posted a scan of Surfer absorbing solar energy, something you claimed he has never done.

Surfer can turn people into rocks...he doesnt kill so he doesnt use this power very often. Once he turned an entire room filled with gold into sand just to piss off Terrax. Later on he turned some of that sand into a diamond statue for Nova...I thought u said u had every SS comic book?

We have already seen him absorb Gamma radiation from the Hulk. He can absorb all forms of EM energy as far as I know, which would include Gamma radiation and UV light.
