Dominus was using Supes because he has a bond/link to Kismet...an eternity type being.

something like aos 585 (?) was where he brought satanus in i think, though i don't think they actually battled - supes brought him in (was he teaching lois the technique or something?) and learned about a plot satanus was hatching. can't remember completely. he DID fight kem-l in mos 96 though i think there kem-l brought HIM into it (being kryptonian he also knew the technique), and supes used his own mental powers to defeat him on the mental plane.

Then they say Supes heat vision is off the charts... 11,000 Degrees Fahrenheit plus is off the charts? Oh, wait Snoop provided a scan... Off the human charts right? Then Supes speed becomes a factor. Has been knocked out by a punch from She Hulk/Supes got his neck cut open with a magical dagger from wonder woman and kept on going.
No way for Surfer to know that Supes is weak to kryptonite. He sure couldnt get any info out of cyborg without being told about him.
Red Sunlight, Eradicator threw Supes into a red sun, and supes survived...so much for that theory.

and sentry, who said anything about supes being a powerful telepath? i just said it's an option he has and is developing. it's an ability he uses rarely (so far, though his abilities have been said to be the start of the tk abilities the superman dynasty shows) - he is still learning to master it. it IS however, a POSSIBLE option.
i adore the ss i mention before that he is one of all time favorites but why doesn't he just turn thanos, thor and any other person he fights into "gas" , i am waiting to still see a scan of surfer changing a person into gas or a rock or something. i have seen the thing hit ss of his board why couldn't supes, ss has cosmic awareness i will grant ss fan's that but couldnot sense a person through mist/condesation-i don't know that seems kind of weird doesn't
