I wanted my former Mass. Gov. M. Romney to win. My issue(s), out of a few, primarily lie with the economy. I thought he was the best man for the job. But he's still not out of it yet. I hear McCain's considering him as the v.p. ticket, which is excellent news.
I might have liked Romney more if he talked more about economics and less about immigration and republican loyalty.

Sigh these past few pages are really bugging the hell out of me:

1) Rev. Wright has repeated what a lot of you have said on this forum, just in a more aggressive manner.

Example:If we are to believe the story given to us by the government, then the events of 9/11 were going to come in some sort of way. "Muslim extremist" groups are pissed and in some form or fashion were going to attack the U.S.

Wright also mentions very bias opinions on race but I have seen plenty of the same here, just in more sly ways. That doesn't make Wright's words less moral.

Obama said in some CNN view that being patriotic does not always means you suck up to everything your country does. There are times when criticism is necessary to be certain the country continues to improve.

2) Anyone watching Fox News isn't voting for Obama anyway so I fail to see why this even matters.

3) Why the hell is everyone saying Obama could not win the election? Everyone is repeating this but not giving any reasons.

4) I can't comment on the speech because I haven't seen it yet.

I do wish that people would stop getting so damn emotional about race. It seems as if some people are saying "**** Obama" just because they don't agree with how he articulates his position on race relations.

Amen. 👆

"Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois today urged hundreds of blacks not to vote along racial lines next week in Maryland's Senate race. Obama, the only black U.S. senator, came to the state to rally support for Democratic Rep. Benjamin L. Cardin, who is white. Cardin's Republican opponent, Lt. Gov. Michael S. Steele, is the first black candidate ever elected statewide and has been courting black Democrats."--Associated Press, Nov. 3

"The nation's only black senator, Barack Obama, D-Ill., asked voters at two black churches and at a Nashville rally to elect [Harold] Ford, a Democrat who is trying to become the first black senator from the South in more than 100 years. 'I know that all of you are going to work the next couple of days to make sure it happens, because I'm feeling lonely in Washington,' Obama said at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. 'I need my dear friend to join me.'

He's what i call a radical; a bit more action orientated. In the way whites were when fighting for this country in yonder days before him. But he was still Afrocentric (at first). But you gotta understand that his era was one one blatant racism though. Jim Crow laws were still around and he was mostly speaking of the majority's hypocrisy. He wouldn't be taken serious today but back then he may've had some good and logical points.

Primarily, his Afrocentrism wasn't out of an illogical and natural hate for whites that he's had since he was young. He was the way he was because of racism, injustice, hypocrisy, and discrimination. He would've been fine if whites weren't the major bigots they were back then.

lol, you'd complain to if you couldn't do anything really cause of the "inferior" color of your skin yet the country's "sanctified" Constitution says you have rights as an American citizen while being denied them cause you're skin's brown.

This is what he said for those of you whom think differently of the man.

"I am not a racist in any form whatsoever. I don't believe in any form of racism. I don't believe in any form of discrimination or segregation. I believe in Islam. I am a Muslim. And there's nothing wrong with being a Muslim, nothing wrong with the religion of Islam. It just teaches us to believe in Allah as the God. Those of you who are Christians probably believe in the same God, because I think you believe in the God who created the universe. That's the One we believe in, the one who created the universe, the only difference being you call Him God and I -- we call Him Allah."

I humour this. I am sure Arabs would humour it too. No wait, they already do

'You, the black women, we will exterminate you, you have no god.'

I wonder when FotN will finally realise he's the only person white/black or whatever on this god damn forum who mentions racism?

Maybe it's because nobody really wants to talk about it. Maybe not.

The majority of the forum is white. And even on the outside, on the street, and most of the time, I've had a hard time holding an open discussion on the issue with whites, whether it's in school or during break at work or anywhere else.

As if it makes you guys feel uncomfortable talking about racism or they wanna change the subject or w/e, on here i get flamed and called a racist for bringing up the issue, etc.

It's really an interesting topic, though..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_hair#Modern

I know I really like to talk about it a lot, if you didn't see my posts. Usually, ppl threaten to tell on me, though, if I write too much. I never write anything bad, though, and generally do not write back.

So, this is the idea of what is right: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_hair#Culture (I claim this as my race!)

Dont care what you look like, you'll still continue to be semi-incoherent, to me.

We should all look like this 😆

You know how we would know shich one looks like you?

If you'd post a pic.

Obviously you can't, cause you are black....and for some ridiculous reason don't want to be.

I am not "black." I do not even believe in race. I am a good person, but you are saying that I am not.

I know, I have to post a pic of me next to other girls my age.

Stop picking straws. Racism is racism. I do not disagree with most of the views Malcolm X held. In perspective they make sense, but he was also a racist until near the time of his death.

I have said on this forum before that I think black people in the U.S. are the most racist people on the planet. Everyone tends to call foul simply for empathy without understanding the context of U.S. history behind how race relations got how they are.

Context included, all American citizens, no matter the race, of middle class or below are getting screwed over throughout this nation's history. Some on a more grand scale than others, but it happens to everyone.

If someone makes a stupid response I'll say more but I'm on spring break, eating cookies and mad at Naruto 394 so I'll refrain for now.

Yet you don't believe in race?

Liar?

Black liar?

And yeah, I think you are not a good person. But when I call you black it is really just because of your dark skin, not because you are a stupid lunatic.
