I'd like to apologize to all my team mates for not being able to really participate in the last match at all. Last week was really bad for me, and I was really busy.
Charlotte still managed to do a great job without us, though I'm sure it was really hard for her since I don't think has all that great a knowledge on Kira or Seras, who were our key fighter this round.

Part about Kira was hard- I have NO Bleach scans at all at my archive. With Seras there is at least respect thread to use it.
Sorry about that. Due to excessive celebration caused by a sporting event yesterday I didn't get around to posting the thread, as well as receiving an email asking for an extension from one of your teammates (and not receiving your write-up...). Since your and Smurph's teams are the only ones battling this week, and this is the last match prior to the Semis I'll start it tomorrow morning at 10:00a (PST) and ending Monday, Feb. 11 at 11:00a (PST).
Semis will begin on the 18th.
Hmm...
My ruling on the Ultrons is the same as my ruling on the T-Spheres. While they can be programmed to perform rudimentary tasks and carry them out, they are not truly "independent", as in free willed, or sentient constructs. They are not in control of their own actions. Like the T-Spheres, they are essentially remote controlled devices (like smart bombs/missiles or tracking drones), and they're legal unless evidence to the contrary (that they are in fact sentient and free willed/acting; autonomous) is provided.
So what are the likely semis matchups? Or are there too many judgings stil to be made before we'll know?
Also, here's a petition to kick the judges in the ass and actually get timely decision for the semis. Because if its as slow as the current judging, we'll have about a month between semis and finals. Ill's not really at fault, but somewhere the chain of responsibility is falling down.
I've tried to round them up by PM and MSN previously. I had 8 judges initially and now I'm down to 4 (including myself). Jason posted his decisions for last week. I'll PM Trickster and try to get him back on the same page, and I have Cresh on retainer just in case, or I'll just judge myself. I see Val, Llagrok, Skeets and Soljer online all the time but they won't judge the battles for some reason. All in all we've had 4 teams and 4 judges reneg on commitments in one form or another. I realize it's just a message board tourney but when you give your word that you'll do something and others are dependent on your participation it really puts everyone in a bind when you don't follow through.
Other than the judging, however, I've found this experimental format to be a successful pilot as far as the combat is concerned. I plan on expanding this premise into a "Fantasy League" later on this year with drafts, trades, waivers, etc, and individual posters rather than teams. I'll have more details at a far later date. I want to iron out all the particulars and rules before I present it for public consumption.
