Does the poll in our matches mean anything? I never voted for my team until this round, then thought that maybe I should have.

No, the polls are just for spectators. With 3 judges there's no possibility of a tie unless a judge decides, however unlikely, that it's a draw.

Isn't specifying who you get powers from after you know your opponents' prep slightly oh, I dunno... illegal?

Not in the slightest, darling...in fact, those powers were the ones we're aimed for initially- elemental attack, superspeed and something to even the numbers (paralyzing gas\white noise field).
We're just getting them in more plausible way. Read the prep- superspeed and elemental powers are mentioned. We're just get rid of everything redundant- but are grabbing just those powers we were attempting to use from the very beginning.In fact I just got rid of mass blood suck- nothing else.
And since most of your prep (exept for Asgardian Destroyer part, which is something I'm still searching the proper (and actually simple) treatment for) based on bringing an assload of explosives on the battle field...I'm not going to even discuss that here. I told about that in one of my posts.

You chose characters, gave reasoning for each about why they were good to take down our prep, and then attempted to pass it off as legal.

Saying we've got "energy manip powers", then stating you specifically copy an ice manipulator to remove the Blackbird (which still doesn't work, but that's in my post), isn't at all legal. 😐

Hmm, actually, it looks like some teams have not faced each other in this round as of yet so I need the matches to transpire in order to determine the seeding. The next battles will be the teams which have not faced eachother as of yet:

Smurph, your match vs. Team Leo will start Monday because I pushed the start of Week 4 back from the 23rd to the 28th.

Hmmm... my teammates seem busy that week, and despite Smurph trying well to get me to write something ad majorem whitehaired gloriam... I'm also beginning to feel tired of that*yawns*

I'll make the same announcement I made in Warworld. My life went bat-sh*t for the next couple days but in a good way. SB party host, rehearsal/concert tomorrow at a place a couple hours away, house cleaning, and most importantly I'm an uncle as of today. We have to squeeze in the time to visit this weekend, so I pretty much won't be around.

I'll try to slip on for some closing remarks on Monday, but leo and bats will really have to handle the rest of this match. Sorry guys, but I'm glad I got most of my posts in early anyway.

actually i'm in a similar position tomorrow. my daughter's birthday party then superbowl host. i'll try and post later today but tomorrow will be very tough so this will likely be my last as well. 😬
