Well, there's reality distortion at one case, also the ability to change the concentration of particular chemical elements in inorganic matter, thus transmutating the objects(with the sufficient knowledge of what the character is doing, thus he cannot transmutate steel sword into adamantium one since he doesn't know chemical formula of adamantium).
I've already banned time manipulation. Reality manipulation is also banned.
In regards to matter manipulation, yes, offensive matter manipulation (altering your opponent's being) is banned. However, altering organic or inorganic material that is not a part of your opponent (i.e., the battlefield) is not banned. If you find a character that can do the latter without being able to perform the former they'd be allowed.

...of course there is. I'd assume you'll be sneaking him in during round 2.😛
...
Also, more importantly:
Once all the rules are hashed out, Ill needs to post a new thread with the finalized rule set in the first post so that judges aren't confused and such.
Perhaps one of my 2 lieutenants could gather that for me... 😛
Elric can manipulate organic matter and he is more than capable of manipulating an opponent. Anyone's who seen the series knows that he used alchemy to try to rez his dead mother.
.........Unfortunately, some things were not meant to be messed with. 😛 It backfired and almost killed him and his brother. To save his brother's life, he bound his soul into a suit of armor. And with the help of some friends, he made a mechanical arm and leg for himself to replace the ones he lost.
So yeah, he should be banned. 😄

Unless he were to see or touch adamantium even once of course . . .
Ed fights as a person lower than Spiderman but in a tournament he's far far above.

Um, PUNCHING someone is altering their matter... You need to be more specific.
You need matter manipulation defined for you even though it is a phrase commonly used on the forum? Anyway we all know what matter manip is and making a more specific definition just necessitates more use of the "no loopholes" rule.
