We have 6 characters and 6 battle sites, and use each once for prep. Cool. But what are we doing about prep for the semis and finals? If we have access to all 6 again, it kinda favors whoever has 1-2 hardcore prep sites, rather than who has the best team. Or is it a neutral prep site?

I'm good either way, but I was just curious.

I asked this question a few days ago. ILL says that by the time the semi's come around, you would have drafter new members to your team from whom ever you beat.

So we're using the prep sites of the people we beat and bring to our team?

And when do we start being able to draft from other teams?

In the semi Finals. If I beat trick's team, I might as well forfit a draft from them lol. I know nothing about any of those manga guys.

So wait. We only start drafting from other teams in the semi-final match? So that means whoever wins in the semis will only draft 1 person from the loser, and it won't be used for the rest of the tourney.

Also, agreed. Screw manga.

Prep sites reset in the semis.

The prep limitations are per round (if you look at the latest rule update I elaborated on the prep rule).

In rounds 2 and 3 they "reset", meaning that in your semifinals and finals [if you were to reach them] best-of-3 matches you would have your choice to use any of your 6+ available prep areas in your 3 matches in the round (1 area per match, but you have 6+ to pick from).

K, so we have any of them in the semis/finals. Sounds good.

Also, is it possible to draft a character from a beaten team, then use them for a prep site but not in the battle?

And sorry for being uninformed...it's hard keeping up on the rule updates.

In fact, Trickster's strategy with Jotaro and Guts is cheap, but it works🙂 Or at least is supposed to be working.

Also I just love the way they dealt with the only Midnighter's close range weakness.

I believe Ill has previously said that you can prep at a location that belongs to a character that will not be fielded.

You assume alot about people's strategies 😬

Cool. Thanks, as always.

In fact, those are only the most evident of assumptions...and people don't use those "Evident" things for any purpose other than "paper tigers". And Guts and Jotaro are just garnish for the main course... In fact, the amouth of raw power Trickster's team can dish out is quite good.

😘

too much gushing about other teams from too many people. you all suck and we'll win.

I"m not gushing about anyone's teams cuz I don't care. 😛 I do like Super Saiyan Jubilee times 6 tho. And I was really hoping to see iron fist with shaw's powers and quicksilver's speed. That woudl just have been rediculous.

Dude, I can't believe how you invented this fantasy amalgam and are getting all freaked out about it... Talk about jumping at shadows.

Better to jump at shadows than get caught slipping

I have a single request. May we please shove the Tourney back by a single day (Effectively Tuesday instead of Monday) , due to my Boss being a big fat dickhead ?

If so I would be VERY grateful.

I co-sign the request. Mainly cause I don't know my schedule so I'll try and mail it early.

You could always submit your opening posts by Sunday (12/9) and then battle posts on Tuesday..

If battles are a week long, 1 day is nothing, so it's not really an issue if someone has to miss opening day....as long as they manage to get their writeup in beforehand.
