The difference is the writer writes the story as he sees fit. (ie) Superman beats DS with punches because hes mad as hell.
Now power wise, hers my argument.
Every Hero/Villain has their own powers and comparing their potential power with the way the writer writes the story are 2 different things.
Its like (nerfing) in a MMOG. your toon is powerful untill the devs nerf you to level the story at hand.

You can't hurt him at all, whereas Hulk can be hurt. Claiming Hulk is invulnerable because he won't be feeling pain for long is just plain idiocy. The minute he feels that pain he proves he isn't invulnerable. I don't even think your buddy Smiff would agree with your statement here.

But superman has show in almost every comic that he is stronger, hulk can become stronger after enough time but supes will be stronger then him, faster then him, and more durable then him for a good while.

I know that Cain is boss hog but as I stated before..that aint my argument.
According to his "potential power" hes getting stronger as he moves but when the writer gets a hold of him hes alot weaker depending on how the story is written.

well it has to be this way because Super man is the pinnacle of TRUTH, JUSTICE and the AMERICAN way.
Likewise he's the peoples champ.
In that sense, he will prevail overall by the writers hand but once again I say go to the charts and match their powers and there is NO viable reason Hulk loses that fight.

if he heals instantly then he is not sustaining damage which makes him "impossible to damage" like in the definition., supes does not heal immediately and does sustain damage in a fight.

i admited that if the fight lasts long enough that Hulk would eventually become stronger then him. But for the most supes is stronger, i think we all agree faster, and more durable
hulks healing factor is what gives him an advantage in a prolong fight

Thing is though that he doesn't heal instantly and he has been shown to register pain many times before, he has bled as well.

hulk has matched thor and sentry in terms of speed in a fight. once again hulk's anger is not a meter that has to be built up. his starting strength depends on what pisses him off. this isn't dragonball z where he has to wait and build up his anger. it comes right off the bat.

That "seconds" is debatable because if your cant lay damage fast enough at a sustained rate then you die by the green man.
That seconds could be argued as instant or simply put like this:
total health for example 20,000 and heals 17,000 per second.
That's basically 70% of your health per second. now my question is can Superman out class that because it will take a whole lot of damage SUSTAINED) to beat that.
keep in mind that hes hitting you back and his stats are increasing as the fight goes on........and....on....and on and on............

and sentry didn't use his speed he stood there and let hulk hit him, he was even saying "just one more time" and stuff He wanted to get hit so he could unleash his energy

Actually yes it is, Savage is basically at 100 and even when he does get angry its not a huge ass increase all the time. Depends really. He fought Cain the first time and he didn't get a rage boost until Cain tried to kill him.
