Kinkyness in kids comics, when does it go to far?

I have no problem with some perversion in T+ and none at all with lots in "suggested for mature readers". I recently saw a disturbing image in a What if comic where Black bolt is on his knees, a bondage collar around his neck and a leash. He has been beaten into submission. Next to him is a woman dressed as a dominatrix. She speaks to him "Speak slave", he is crying and whimpers "no". The underlying subtext that the Hulk an Alpha male has beaten the Boltagarr into submission and given him to one of his female underlings as her Biatch is obvious. The whole "Obdiance" disc situation smacks of S & M and BDSM.

What disturbing subtexts have you noticed recently in comics and do you think since the "A" code went the line in general comics is being crossed in terms of decency and morality?

His wife who wants revenge, is the one who apparently beats BlackBolt and then forces him to speak and kill Strange and Sentry.

Really? As I said I'd only seen the image, that makes it even more obviously kinky and much more disturbing. A dominated Black Bolt is forced to be a slave by a dominatrix.

As for Emma Frost and the hellfire club, it's always bordered on perveresion even under the "A" code. The mastermind stuff leading up to 137 was far less dodgy than that though.

If you think Caiera's costume is bad you definitely haven't seen Storms in UXM. 😛

I think Claremont actually makes a good point about sexism in that little story though. Lots of Claremonts work has his own fetishes intertwined into it but he is a feminist by heart.

As for Caiera she's out for revenge...and I've seen worse costumes (Xavier in Bondage) so it doesn't really bother me.

I have seen storms in Ult Xmen, I've seen all of them. I think the way Blackbolt had been treated in that image was....... Very disturbing.

I think it's wrong and degrading to women to show kinky images. But I can't think of any examples, so if anyone does, feel free to post degrading images here ✅

It's no the degradint to either sex it's the promotion of extremely adult kinks. Like Blackbolts. You can see in that image he is now her biatch slapped poodle. Broken and Obediant, her toy and plaything to use and abuse. It's very odd in a childrens comic.

I thought it was wrong in Ultimate X-Men when Rogue left the team to be with Gambit. She was like 14/15. He was like 10 years older. It never went further than a kiss, but still....
Also she slept with Iceman when she rejoined the team, which given her age, shouldn't have happened in a comic bought by young readers.

That's my thoughts on it at least srug
