Why do you have scans of these things?

I remember people posting this scans from way...back..used the search function to find some of them....got that Reed thing from Scoobless..the Pym thing is famous..and the Jean thing I came across on Attuma's Wikipedia.

And I thought having them all in one thread would be nice...ermm

You see this?

"Eat your heart out, Hank Pym. When a Marvel hero slaps his wife, he becomes the Symbol of Male Evil For All Time. When a DC hero slaps his wife, she thanks him for it."

In retrospect, slapping Jean Loring around was probably a bad idea........shocklaugh

Okay how about this then 😛 :

teeny tiny Hank Pym going down (literally) on his wife, then crawling up between her cleavage?

Jesus. How did that get published ?

I mean, I personally really don't care about sexual content in comics, if it fits in the story/thematic/character purposes, but I'm just confused as to how on earth Marvel published that in an Avengers comic. What/when was that?

Avengers #71

If you think Caiera's costume is bad you definitely haven't seen Storms in UXM. 😛

I think Claremont actually makes a good point about sexism in that little story though. Lots of Claremonts work has his own fetishes intertwined into it but he is a feminist by heart.

As for Caiera she's out for revenge...and I've seen worse costumes (Xavier in Bondage) so it doesn't really bother me.

That story was actually written by former X-Men editor Ann Nocenti - backups stories running behind the X-Men reprints (Classic X-Men.) Just interesting that was a female's perspective.

I thought that was one of the greatest things they ever put into an Avengers comic. Novel use for Pym's powers 😂

It would be Vol.2
Was Kurt Busiek still on the title then? It looks a bit like George Perez artwork, but I'm not sure.
