True the only true bad sonic 3D games for me are Sonic 2006 and Shadow the Hedgehog, I never thought you could make a bad game out of a sonic character...but as we saw.

It's easy to make a horrible game out of a popular character.

All you need is laziness.

Yep, that and the games story made little sense.

What was the story of Sonic 2006?

That is confusing as heck, you go through different times, you go back into the past to seal away the villain with shadow, Silver is in the future when you have to destroy the Ibbilis that was awakened sometime in the past, you then go to the future as shadow only to return to the present, where the princess is abducted by Eggman, his ship is destroyed and both the princess and Eggman die...only a time change happens so that Eggman and the princess survive, but that unlocks the villain and he sets a trap for shadow, Silver from the future destroys the Ibbilis in there time but it returns in the present, Menphillis or whatever he is called, kills Sonic so the heroes have to restore him with the chaos emeralds, Ibbilis and mephillis finally merge and become Solerius but when that is destroyed the princess snuffs out the flames; as such the entire events of the game never happened.

Sonic actually dies in that game?

Yes Sonic dies...Mephilis transports himself behind sonic then shoots a spear through him, while laughing as villains do...Elsie (princess) starts to cry and unleashes Ibbilis.

Another thing is that Blaze dies herself by trapping Ibbilis within herself yet since this never happened she returns yet in Sonic Rush she is from another dimension; in Sonic 2006 she is from the future...also Eggman Nega never appears in the game.

Yeah not only is the story bad, the controls are and so is the camera, a really disappointing game.

He's dies in that Sonic the Hedgehog game for the Xbox 360, but he gets revived.

I hope they never make a sonic game like that again.

Although Memphilis the dark is the only Sonic villain to actually kill sonic he is perhaps the worst...think of him as Cell from DBZ only not as cool or as great as Cell.

This scene shocked me the first time...know one dies in a mario, or sonic game, they just get defeated, the hero certainly does not die.
