Its a B2 Stealth Bomber. Main purpose is to drop bombs while remaining undetected. The key is stealth as it has literally NO air to air combat capabilities.

It can carry a shit load of bombs. Apparently 80 of those ones you see in the picture and also many other types. It can also deploy nuclear bombs. Overall, 23 tons of weapons.

Estimates say they cost roughly over $2bn for one. The costs obviously due to the development of the stealth technology.
