Hear, hear! I can understand trying to improve articulation and poseability, but does it have to mean the robot looks like something you pulled out of the Insinkerator®?

Anyway, Bumblebee has left an ugly gap in the TF lineup by doffing his VW guise, so if I were a giant, alien, shape-shifting robot I would gladly take the form of a 1963 ragtop beetle (pearl white paint, of course!). On one hand, Mega-Tool and his klunkies would be unlikely to give any consideration to such a car despite how easily modified they are, which creates all kinds of opportunities. On the other hand, paint on some stripes and gumballs (number 53) and it's the perfect way to mess with people's heads when I'm off-duty 🙂
