Dante vs Master Chief

The problem with hardlined battle computations is that it lacks spontaniety. Dante is simply too fast and far too random for such a thing to work as effectively, not to mention that Cortana has never had to deal with magic wielding demonspawn before, the closest she would have dealt with is Gravemind... It is very likely that MC wouldn't know about Dante's regen until after the fact, and even then, it's very probable that Dante would plug him first, given Dante's faster reactions and far greater maneuverability.

What argument is there to counter the fact that Dante stomps?

Dante can shoot those pistols pretty damn fast, and I didn't think MC was 'normal' but he's no demon, don't give a shit how many times the grunts shout demon when they see him, I've been called demon does that make me a demon.

But she only has to deal with speed, him being a demon is irrelvent, after a while of assessing Dante based on his speed and skills I see no reason why Cortana could not simply line up a well aimed shot, a spray of bullets etc form a pair of machneguns, I dont think Dante has every escaped from such a hail and even if he has, Cortana could assess it so that Dante falls into the hail as he is falling from his last dodge.

but still, MC armour and shields. I think he will have a very long time before Dante even penerates and thats if he can, for example it does not matter how long you fire a machine gun at a tank, you could never break its armour.

Spiral is the only weapon that could possibly get through Chiefs armour and shielding. Saviour did not have armour, it had a stonelike body of unkown strength.

Stabbed in many places, sword went through thick stone like a it was made of jelly ^^
If Dante wasnt had his 'sword' type weapons this would of ended on page 1. Not like he'll lose this anyway ;p

Actually, it was armor, I think. May have been Dark Steel as well.

Actually, Dante has destroyed Tanks before... often with nothing but E&I or the MP5s...

Behold the power that is Dante! Seriously he survives being shot in the head! Also poor Dante has no luck with the ladies.

The tank was show in the cutscene, as was a helicopter that also was 'died' in a cutscene.

Spiral is not Dante's only hope against MC. He is fast enough to hop into the missle attack of Pandora, even without slowing down time for MC. In the vid posted earlier on this site, he damn near teleports.(probably did, actually) Kalina Ann (Lady's bazooka) would be strong enough to rock MC as well. Or his grenade gun. Or Nightmare. Or Artemis. Though BT your argument will be, as always, about them not having any feats. All you should need is the weapon descriptions. What about MC's weapons makes you believe that he would be able to kill Dante? What feats do they have for killing something as powerful as Dante? What proof do you have for Dante being anywhere even close to death, other than the fight with Vergil? Since we know a shot to the head, him being impaled, or even the savior stomping on him wasn't enough to kill him, how is MC supposed to even phase him. How does MC "finish him" if he can't even hurt him? We also know how powerful Dante is. He has destroyed tanks. A single, seemingly uncharged bullet (from his "weak" handguns) had enough strenth to dissolve Berial. He has defeated Mundus, DMC's version of Lucifer. What does MC do against someone he isn't prepared for? Nor is Cortana prepared for the fight against him. Face it, MC is good, but Dante is out of his league.
