Anyways, Cannonball can absorb kinetic energy, and is basically invulnerable while his blast field is up. My opinion is that Gladiators "hardest" punch>>>>>>>>>>>storms puny lightning.

Gambit has never been able to absorb kinetic energy. He charges objects with unstable kinetic energy, but nothing has ever been stated about him absorbing.

Yes it is lightning unless she has developed some other power I dont know about Cannonball is invulnerable when he has his blast shield up she can call down all the lightning she want's.
