If you give Thanos time to think out a way to defeat the spectre you act as if he couldnt. I mean be serious. The guy takes out universal threats when he needs to. He took out the hunger,had Galactus kidnapped practically with the aid of tenebrous and aegis. So in your mind when Thanos has prep are you not allowing him to do anything outside of just sitting there and strategizing?
