Knew Spectre was more powerful? Prove it. That statement is complete speculation. As a matter of fact, Shazam seems to feel that he's got a damn good shot at beating Spectre during their battle:

See that? There was no power left in the Spectre. And he was completely f*cked up. Shazam beat him initially. Its only after that where Spectre gets back up and absorbs the magic of the Rock of Eternity and of Shazam himself, stating that, "in duress, I can take magic from anywhere. From the fortress. From the many enchanted baubles you threw at me. Even from you."

Thanos isn't a magical entity. And, IMO he's better with prep than Shazam - unless you want to argue otherwise. And like I said, he's already beaten two universal level entities with a few hours of prep, using less advanced tech than he owns.

And that's why it isn't unreasonable to suggest Thanos would beat Spectre if he had the preptime.
