Sentry rarely goes all out, because the more energy he releases, the harder it is to control, and if he loses control - Void comes out to play.
We saw how powerful he was when he turned up the juice on Absorbing Man. Sentry has proven himself to be significantly above herald level when he stomped Terrax and made him go home with his tail between his legs.

If sentry beats hulk, it'll be due to energy and speed. cuz sentry wasn't handling ulton that well and he didn't handle that helicarrier that well.
