Sigh.

The first nuclear weapon (and later, more nuclear arms) was created by the United States with help from an international team, including many displaced scientists from central Europe, which included Germany, with assistance from the United Kingdom and Canada during World War II as part of the top-secret "Manhattan Project". While the first weapons were developed primarily out of fear that Nazi Germany would develop them first, they were eventually used against the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The first test was conducted on July 16, 1945 at a site near Alamogordo, New Mexico.[1] The Soviet Union developed and tested their first nuclear weapon in 1949, based partially on information obtained from Soviet espionage in the United States. Both the U.S. and USSR would go on to develop weapons powered by nuclear fusion (hydrogen bombs) by the mid-1950s.

It's in the Superman respect thread.

And how close was he?only 20 meters away the temperture is about 500k,not to mention again it was years ago when it was immeasurable and supes has gotten powerups since then.

I took the liberty of looking up the scan myself:

"only that it's off the charts by scientific measures... and it's derived from the sun."

That's coming out of the mouth of a blond bimbo reporter.

You don't even understand the terms that you are using. You said "nuclear bomb not a hydrogen", so I posted that a hydrogen bomb is a nuclear bomb.

Hulk has survived 4 hydrogen nuclear bombs simultaneously blown up at point blank range.

Each one of them can exceed temperatures of 35 million degrees kelvin. Do the math.

And - it says nothing about 3.6 billion degrees that people are tossing around. It's a reporter - saying his vision is very hot - well no shit. That's the point - that the 3.6 billion number being tossed about is bullshit.

The math is 35 million its not multiplying and the temperture dropes rapidly, supes heat vision is always on and hotter then any nuclear bomb so again how is hulk surviving it.

ok

Superman likely wins. Hulk is exceptionally powerful, but he's not quite Superman. If Supes still has his HV and freeze breath, he should beat Hulk more often than not.

So you're saying that 4 nuclear bombs, exploding at point blank range, is less than one nuclear bomb?

Im saying that the heat doesnt multiply....supes heat vision is hotter then nuclear bombs and has gotten power ups since that was stated.

I don't tHink you've got the right scan. The scan in question had superman's heat vision getting measured by scientists, not some reporter talking about his HV.

You already confused the temperature of a nuclear bomb, what a nuclear bomb even is (you thought a hydrogen bomb meant it wasn't nuclear), and now you seem to somehow think that 4 nuclear bombs isn't a significant increase in heat (notice how I never said anything about multiplying) over one. You also got the amount of heat wrong of what a nuclear bomb emits. You have proven to me, and everybody here, that you know jack shit about nuclear bombs and their effects. You should quit while you are ahead to save yourself further embarassment.

Ok - show me the scan in question then. Prove your point to me. I have dug around the Superman respect thread and cannot find it.

I read the wrong thing is why I got confused I didnt see the distance on it,no im not a nuclear weapons expert,I never said the damage didnt increase only the heat wont, supes heat vision is again hotter then any nuclear bomb by a large margin.

A nuclear bomb is hotter than the sun, but only for a small fraction of a second, while the sun maintains its temperature continuously (and obviously generates much more energy)

And again since we can measure in the billions of degrees and supes is unmeasurable its still a billion+.
