Nah, not really, i dont think the mini is gonna be packed with some big time feats. 😬
As everyone said the art is top notch, the story it self is on par with the rest of his books.

If any impressive feats are to be had in this miniseries, that and the art would be the ONLY reasons to read it.

Or, so it seems. Maybe the story'll get better in the next issue. I kinda doubt it though.

But even the fantastic artwork won't keep me coming back for long, if the story doesn't shape up a bit. srsly

Obviously not. Some of the best comics ever had zero feats within. I'll be picking this up at a later date, so was wondering if SS did anything that I could use in his debates in the meantime.

I hate the art... it's too flashy in most cases, and alien, while Surfer looks clunky-ish.

I'd rather have Ron Lim as the artist (he draws the best Surfer, imo), and the only reason I'm going to follow this series is because it's Surfer.

People seem to like the cover way more than I did - it wasn't anything special in my opinion.

I liked the interior, though.

I didn't like either of them, and Turner should not be doing Surfer... especially a cover that draws people in... There's something about it I don't like... at least it's better than the art in the actual comic though...
