God of War III

Dante's Inferno aimed for high framerates, of course it looks inferior. At any rate, graphics in GoW3 are top-notch.

I don't think Atlas will appear in the second Great War on Mount Olympus because in case nobody knows, Hades took his soul way before Zeus attempted to banish the Titans to Tartarus and Kratos got the Titans out of there right before they got sent there.

Still, Atlas could appear as a boss later on, you never know. I think it'd be a shame to completely exclude him from the game completely. I'd really like to see more of him. Either way, I'll still be happy that Cronos is returning for the third game, and he looks more badass than ever.

Why are PS3s breaking lately? 🙁

I wish it wasn't something anything PS3 owner would have to fear. After owning mine for two years I certainly wasn't expecting it, but hopefully that problem will no longer be present once I can finally get it fixed.

Goddangit, some dumb@$$ reviewer on Joystiq spoiled something massive.

Spoiler:
The Titans betray Kratos and try to kill him

You're right about the betrayal of the Titans being fairly obvious.

Everyone tries to **** over Kratos. They all end up paying for it dearly.
Some even try to **** Kratos. They all get rewarded for it very well 313

dude ever hear of spoiler tags?

To my understanding you fight Zeus twice, and the second time he is in battle armor that you can see his muscles flex.

My mistake.

I just received my latest issue of Game Informer and saw that GOW III got a 10 rating. Huh.

Maybe this game isn't all about hype, methinks.

No problem dude... I've known for a while but lets not ruin surprises for people that don't want to be ruined

Nah, it isn't. Tis a much better experience than Darksiders from what I've seen.

Just watching the opening of the game has me extremely excited...so much so that I spoiled quite a bit of the game for myself >__>.

Yeah, you are right, it was a stupid slip-up on my part.

Still, the story is the weak point of the game, but yeah, doesn't mean I should spoil it.

All this time, I thought

Spoiler:
the Titans were Kratos' allies but to deceive him during the second great war made me surprised. I don't see the obviousness in GoWII on the Titans betraying him so don't even imply me as an idiot. Now that I think about it, it seems retarded that the Titans would attack Kratos while they're fighting the Gods. As if it wasn't enough trouble for the Titans to fight the Gods, now they want to add Kratos fighting them in the mix? Stupid Titans. I guess the ending of the GoWIII Demo is true and not just added there for a mind blowing ending.

I didn't even need to know about that until I played the game. One of the most important reasons you'd want to buy a game like this is to find out what's going to happen. Kyaa, I'm no longer looking up sites talking about GoWIII anymore until GoWIII is out and I finished it. This is all that reviewer's fault that I'm so pissed. He could've given people a friggin warning but no!

This isn't a spoiler on the game, just an explanation NX.

Spoiler:
Athena made a rather obvious reference to it didn't she? She's about the only god Kratos ever had a proper relationship with, and at the end of II, was the only god who had ever really cared about him

It was kind of obvious, IMO. 1st game you have the baddies, and ultimately fight Ares. Second game it's stepped up to where the gods turn on you and you team with the Titans. Where do you go from there? You have to have

Spoiler:
bigger enemies to really step up the game. Thus, the Titans turn on you.
As long as they can make a cohesive story out of it, I'm all for it.

Well, they've leaked the scene on youtube recently. I'll only say that

Spoiler:
Gaia's betrayal didn't seem like so much a betrayal as it was an abandonment, but it's no shit why Kratos took it as both given the situation (as soon as they reached Zeus, he blew them off, and Gaia, barely hanging on, admitted that everything she did was for the Titans, and not Kratos and that she and the Titans were to be the ones to defeat the Olympians (kinda stresses the series' main story aspect being perspective. Either way, it plays out so that you want to kill her).

Oh, and there's also a machinima review that mentioned something that cracked me up:

Spoiler:
Hercules is supposedley voiced by Kevin Sorbo. Kinda like how they had Harry Hamlin "reprise" his role as Perseus. I just think this is a cool little sense of homage the studio seems to have.
