I'm not voting for people on regular basis just because I see problems beating them, Nvr. I'm not a b-i-tch to do that...
Venom just have shown illegal ability on panel- inducing nightmares in someone's mind is clear case of mind control which is unacceptable in that tourney. Look, personally I have no problem to deal with Venom as my team has pretty good powerset for crippling some Venoms. So while durability is debatable, mind control was clearly shown (though Venom doesn't use that ability as frequently as Carnage does, he still has it).

And Nvr, I thought you dropped your objection against Kenshiro long ago. Chi-overloading the skyscraper (that wasn't strength feat, BTW, as Kenshiro has no superhuman stats apart from his skills) isn't the reason for being banned. That's also a high end feat for him both in terms of chi overload and chi forcefield (energy consuming and short term ability, BTW).

Illadelph already ruled the character out previously...but that is alright, we got replacements (just trying to decide who). He wasn't a crucial part of our plans...

I'm may not be able to actually participate because of my Internet problems at this point but I just thought I'd point something out in regards to Darkhawk since he was originally my idea. Unless I'm mistaken, Darkhawk's able to instantly heal because his space ship keeps an extra Darkhawk body on hand in case of an emergency... but I think that it only keeps one back up on hand at a time. Now if I'm right about that(and I'm pretty sure that I am), it would mean that Darkhawk would only be able to do his "instant healing" trick ONCE in any given match because afterwards the space ship would have to start creating a new body to store(to my knowledge, DH's never shown the ability to heal himself multiple times in a single battle). A single "healing" per match doesn't really seem to be overpowered for this level given the fact that someone like Wolverine(who's an appropriate pick for this tourney) has far greater healing abilities at his disposal 😬 ...

We're going to need more evidence against Venom. The evidence presented as "OHKO" and "mind control" do not help the case against the character. In the scans, the victim of the supposed OHK and mind control abilities had Eddie Brock bound to an operating table and connected to a device which would remove the symbiote, and he states that he's attempting to forcibly extract the symbiote from Brock and bond with it himself thinking the resultant merger will make him immortal, and then in so doing becomes overwhelmed by the mental effects of the merger. That does not show Venom using telepathic attacks as the victim purposely merged himself with the symbiote and caused the effect by merging minds with the lifeform, and it also doesn't display a OHK ability because this was not an attack and there's no evidence that Brock can simply have the symbiote merge with whoever he wants. .

As for the other "feats", bringing down an already burning building via breaking the support beams of the foundation is an empty feat, and also, while catching bullets in your mouth and then spitting the bullets, at point blank range, into the human shooter and apparently killing him is impressive, it's not necessarily an "over the caps" feat. Sabrertooth could have a mini gun emptied on him or a building explode around him and keep going, and many of the combatants in this tourney, and the low meta tier, can deal with gunshots and fire pretty easily.

I need a little something more that puts Venom out. You have the necessary votes, but the case and the evidence levied against Venom at this point is weak.

Being bullet resistant isn't the reason, I have a character who is bulletproof to some extent at least to bullets fired from convinient handguns. The difference between that feat and say Sabretooth taking bullets like nothing (but NOT using them back against his opponent) is evident, and I thought that Venom can be pushing the limits.
But I've already said that have no problems with him as a combatant, and to perform said "OHKO" symbiote has to leave his host for some time. Not a good thing against teams with speedsters\teleporters\etc in them.
