Illadelph's Multi Genre Team Tournament Confirmation Thread

Sorry. I find those terms quite confusing especially as those series (especially KOF 2000 drawn by great Andy Seto) are drawn pretty much in European way, though you may see some chibi included here and there.
But thanks for correction, I didn't know how to spell Chinese word for that properly in English. So it caused a bit of confusion.

S'alright.

A way that I find helps is if you look at the Hair/Eyes/Mouth

The eyes and mouth are disproportionate in Manga (Mouth being MUCH MUCH larger then the eyes) Manwha however makes them more realistically proportioned. The same is with the hair , Manga is very spiky and Manwha is usually softer and realistic.

A friend of mine described Manwha as "they draw bodies in American way, faces sometimes are drawn in Japanese way and it's all coloured in European way"🙂 Though he talked about NeoSun KOF manwha in particular there.

I hate manga. All of my rage shall be loosed in this tournament.

We'll see.

Yes, we will. Though my dislike of it won't stop me from research, so it won't be blind rage. I'm actually quite looking forward to it.

Ready to PWN, yeah?

K' is not a problem. Chi blocks his flames and if you smash the glove he loses control. He's nowhere near as powerful as the natural flameusers. Now, if she had grabbed Kyo Kusanagi or Iori, then I'd call for a banhammer. Kyo has blown up an underground military base and helped take down Rugal Bernstein. Iori IS a team smasher.

The glove issue is actual before KOF2001- now he wears it for the sake of conveniency as he used to wear it. So that weakness isn't actual now (KOF2003 isn't a showing- he lost control for a while for another reason than glove being malfunctional).
Also I've drafted the version from HK comics\manwha, but the feats of that don't contradict ingame primary canon in terms of overall power levels.

Though I'd like to point out that Blackout isn't a true teleportation but a short-range speedup up to 200 metres per second (limited in terms of distance to no more than 50 metres, so K' can be seen as black afterimage while performing that).

[B]Speedblitzing Ryo Sakazaki

Ryo Sakazaki fights K's best friend and legal guradian Maxima, who downed Ryo's girlfriend King in earlier round. Ryo is bloodlusted and going to kill poor Canuck cyborg (previously landing quite a beating on him, though Maxima's durability and stubborn spirit is not so easy to overcome, so Ryo concetrates all his chi in a punch).
Before he manages even to land a hit (there's something like 0,1 of second passing aproximately going by how close he's to Maxima), K' rushes from his seat aproximately 20 metres away from arena (including stairs) while his rush being unnoticed by Vanessa and anyone in arena (that gives us the speed of aproximately 200 metres per second, pretty much the same one K' moves during the Blackout "teleport"😉. Then he delievers a punch sending Ryo all across the arena and damaging him badly.

That's how big the arena is.

The actual calculation taken from the English translation of KOF2000, issue 2

😆 This is part of the reason I'm doing this. I'm trying to break down the walls of genre hate and segregation.

*edit

KMC: Civil Libertarian.

BIG NO to "He's from manga so he authomatically loses".

And Trickster, while K' isn't as powerful as Kyo (Kyo blown up NESTS underground base with a move he considered obsolete and dropped from his arsenal for a while, while K' (even considering more versalite feats from comics/manwha version) never come close to that under his normal power level and the only comics feat looking like that was a "flame berserker" from glove malfunctioning and he exhausted himself performing that) he doesn't lose control anymore because of glove- he stopped be glove-dependent. The little accident in the end of KOF2003 had other reasons.

Not the only one.

http://www.geocities.com/DNAdeliverance/KoF2003_End.htm
The ending of KOF2003. The glove is all right and it takes K' just a few minutes to return to norm- the reason was the "growing power surge" as something was happening to Kusanagi flames in general.

The guy in the background, Mukai. He's one of the Hakkeshu, warriors of Orochi.

and like I said, K' is fine. Kyo and Iori are over the limit.

I know it was Mukai and know HOW Kusanagi flames react to Orochi power. In fact it was the only reason for K' to enter KOF2003- to serve as backup to Kyo in case original wieder of Kusanagi mystical flames experiences any troubles.
And I didn't go crazy to draft Iori- any KOF fan with sense would have eaten me alive for that. Iori IS a mid meta at least (and was pwned by Ass Crimson in teh lamest way- I hope he gets hiis revenge limb by limb).
