Thinking outside the box and on panel proof is the two different things NUT. How would you know a characters ability if youre not seeing what they are doing on panel. Its just people that has way more feats due to the time that they have been out.
That long post that i posted basically represented people saying that a character can DO things with there powers that they have yet to do in a comic. Like someone punching someone a thousand time but has as of yet to punch someone even 10 times in a second. Thats basically giving a character a ability that he/she has yet to display in a comic. Basically a wet dream.
The outside the box comment is basically saying that Silver surfer has more feats and better feats but thanos has a powerset that could take down silver surfer. This statement has nothing to do with on panel proof or anything else. Its based off of powerset. Hell, galactus has more and better feats then lt but who do you think would win. 😕

You didnt get my post, I KNOW THAT LT IS MORE POWERFUL, BY A HUGE MARGIN, but galactus has better feats. Thats when you have to think outside of the box. You dont get it. I'll try to make it more simpler to you. People saying that surfer can punch someone a thousand time in a second, no on panel proof to prove this so why say a character can do it when theres nothing backing it up. ON PANEL PROOF, THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OUTSIDE THE BOX.
HERE IS OUTSIDE THE BOX, HERE IT IS, READ AND UNDERSTAND WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT. ITS TWO DIFFERENT THINGS.
Now when youre thinking outside the box thats when you pit characters togethers that is basically a mismatch, something like thanos vs superman. Superman has waaay more feats to his credit but thanos is overrall more powerful and more equiped at taking superman down with ease. Or superman vs proteus, superman has waay more feats then proteus but proteus powerset should make it possible for him to take on the entire jla and defeat them.
I tried to break it down to short hall terms, I hope it helped.

No I GET what you are saying. I just think you are being hypocritical. If someone says that surfer is a FTL chatacter and therefore should be able to fight FTl, you disagree. Yet you are saying that Sentry is on Supermans level even though he doesn't have the feats to prove he is...
Hence, it is ok to think outside the box as long as it fits YOUR view.

OOOOHH, thats what you're trying to say. I explained why I said that sentry could beat superman, surfer, thor, etc... he has basically owned characters with ease that the people that I named above would struggle to defeat. Its just that simple.
I also agree with surfer having on panel proof of it saying that he can maneuaver at faster then light, hell the guy followed a beam of light through a cavern and time basically stopped when he was doing this. I never denied surfer being able to do that because he has on panel proof of it saying that he can but other characters dont have that same luxury, not even the sentry. People bring up sentry flying the void to the sun and how many panels it took, they fail to realize that ironman was right behind him and that that scene alone was just part of the story (void being dipped in the sun). The writers wasnt trying to get a speed feat out of it, if they were then iron man also moves at the speed of light since he was right behind sentry when he did this.

You also said sentry is by far the strongest out of all these characters, but he has no feats proving that he is.
