Help with an old movie title...

Newbie here, just hoping SOMEONE will remember this old ass horror film, and help me find the name.

I saw it around 1979, probably on HBO or Cinemax. The only things I remember are one particular death scene, and a scene leading up to it.

I remember a man and a woman (possbily blonde) driving towards a house. I remember the house being haunted/possessed. The couple pulls up to the house, and see a man on the roof. I *think* he slips on a loose shingle/tile, and falls head first into a either a spike on the roof, a weather vane on a spire, or he could have possibly landed on a spiked fence. I really think it was a weather vane in the head.

I've tried searching allmovie.com, imdb, wikipeidia, and a few other horror sites, but come up with nothing....

Anyone else remember this film??

Hi, new to the forums because I cannot remember the names of these movies from the 80s (might've been repeats of 70s films, I'm not sure)

Anyways:
I only have vague memories from when I was a really little kid but I remember

2) an animated movie (It was probably on Nickelodeon when I saw it) about two mice searching for something based on a word they've heard. I think they were a father & son team. At one point they're in the middle of an ocean in a bathtub (I think) and they see some garbage with the word on it. The only other thing I really remember is a trippy scene where they stare at an image that keeps going and going (like if you put two mirrors across from each other and they just keep reflecting each other over and over).

Yeah, strange but if anyone else can remember these, please help!

This is "The Mouse and his Child". A father and son wind-up toy mouse are on a quest to become "self winding". I saw this in the theater with my Grandma when I was 6. Check IMDB.

More than one Movie?

could someone please tell me the name of the movie where a man (not the real priest, i think) was hiding(?) in a church confessional booth and a young pretty lady entered to make a confession and he asked her things and said things that no priest would ever say?

i know there is a scene such as this in "Hudson Hawk", but for some reason , i cannot shake the feeling that there is another movie with a similar scene.

any help would be appreciated

thanks

Could it be "We're No Angels" with Robert DiNiro and Sean Penn? Demi Moore was in it too.

Brie

Does anybody know what the movie is called that's about this guy who gets frozen in order to like stop aging but the guy who froze him has a heart attack and no one else knows so he wakes up like 5o years laters or something? But then he starts to age like normal again? It's been annoying me for ages. Thanks!!

i think...

is it Forever Young with Mel Gibson?

Need a little help

n my film class, our teacher showed us a clip from a black and white movie. The clip was about a minute long and it included two (or 3, can't remember now) men talking to each other. (Pretty sure it was 2). Whoever can figure out what the movie is gets a few points on the next test. I copied down a few lines to google but I couldn't find anything. Here they are:

"Hadn't heard it with my own three ears"

"Slept on the couch, didn't ya sport?"

"Politics is the business of ever good citizen"

Sorry I don't have any more than that. There someone mentioned, sounded like 'Mave'. And I think an uncle ('Mave' may have been the uncle). Thanks for your help!

I would guess Citizen Kane because its the most critically acclaimed movie and it is also black and white.

But I don't recognize the lines from the movie.

storm is over

Anyone have any idea which movie the R Kelly song "The storm is over" is from?

No but if it has R Kelly on the soundtrack it must be a STINKER!!

Hey micewillplay it could be "Hard Ball"

Need help remember 2 movies

The first movie is a kid Christmas movie that I saw probably in the 80's. All I can remember is there was a church or a school that was putting on a play about Mary and Joseph and baby Jesus. There was a "gang" of poor kids that came in and the little girl that was the leader of their little group, ended up playing Mary in the play and blah, blah, blah she learned some lesson. My little girl likes watching movies like that so I was trying to find it for a gift.

The second movie was a horror from either the 70's or 80's. I've been trying to remember this movie forever. All I can remember is it was either a family or a bus with children, and a lady specifically, in a country town, and something about them being hijacked by some guys wearing clown masks. It was really scary to me then. Now....for some reason I think this next memory could be from another movie, if so and you know what I'm talking about please let me know. I have this memory of something about people hiding in an underground war shelter thing? I don't know...I might be mixing 2 movies together. I want to say the storm shelter memory had something to do with a nuclear bomb or something and maybe the family died in there or something.

I sure hope I didn't dream all this. Thanks in advance for any help!

You should ask in the "What's this movie?" thread

The movie you are looking for might be "Fortress" (1986). At some point in the movie they are hiding in a cavern under ground. They have to swim from one side to the other. I always remembered that scene because they had to hold their breath for a long time.

Boy living in tree trunk...

I remember having to watch this movie in school when I was a kid. I remember how this young boy either ran away, or was seperated from his parents or something. He made a small home out of the trunck of a tree. He literally lived in the woods in this tree trunk.

Any ideas?

Thanks - Brie
