In the late 80's early 90's I remember seeing a movie where there was this guy who was a professional gymnast who was sent to this really wierd third world country where he needed to win a foot race. All along the race through this weird city there are a bunch of ninja looking people telling him where to go next and some of them are trying to kill him. I cant remember much more except that at the end of the movie it shows him on the gymnastics horse, oh and earlier in the movie he uses a stone slab as a gymnast's horse to kick a bunch of bad dudes asses.

Plot: The USA yacht team hold the trophy for the usa vs australia like race event and there all pompous about it until the australians beat them. So after that happens its a little grey in my head but this guy wants to bring the trophy back home to the usa and needs funding to design a fast boat and the movie is about him trying to get funding and then design and then actually racing the thing.
i cant think of any of the actors names if i did it would eb easy to find out what movie was by using imdb but the names are not coming to me. hope the plot description helps any of you figure out what movie this is.

I need help i have researched this for days and cant seem to find this movie. I don't know the actors name its going to keep bugging me. Its about a mechanic i believe he leaves new jersey or somewhere around there and moves to California where he meets some guy and then ends up starting a mechanic shop and makes some money he meets a rich girl but that doesn't work out end the end he has lost his business and his girl. but at the end of movie he's sitting on a beach who he sees this girl who he met earlier in the movie who was a waitress or something like that when he was making money. Thats all I remember oh i remember the song playing on it by beach boys..I wish they could all be california Girls. Hope someone can remember this movie or actor

Hi all.
I remember a film released around 10 years ago about the american government's attempts to make a war more popular with the public by having a film director direct the war. The scene I remember is a government press conference and the director (watching it on TV accompanied by government officials) being surprised that he was able to dictate what was being said to the waiting media.
Does this make any sense?

this is a older movie..like 20 years maybe...The earth is dying, so a very young crew is sent out on a special ship to search for a new planet..they are teenagers.. its a very clean movie, but i dont think its disney...I can't remember to much else...lol..please help.. if it helps there was a love interest between two of the young crew members. oh yeah its like 4 hours maybe it was 2 parts

Okay, I remember seeing previews at the theater about a group of scientists that create some type of time machine. They go back to what looks like the prehistoric time and get the normal warning about not touching anything to avoid changing the future. While in the past they have to stay on a certain path and at some point one of the people step on a moth or butterfly and track it back to the present on his shoe. That's about all I remember from the preview but I don't remember seeing the movie released.

Does anyone have any clue? I wold appreciate any help, this has been bugging me for a couple months now
