Help please!!!! Looking for a movie. All I can remember is that it is set in London, it begins with an American girl looking the wrong way on a street and getting hit by a car. A guy takes her to the hospital and then brings her home. He falls for her and after she leaves he tries to find her, but her discovers that everything she told him about herself was made up. I thought that it was Jude Law and Natalie Portman, but that is not right according to IMDB. Does this ring a bell with anyone?????

It's not "Gorgo". I remember it being a direct to TV film, American, and had a CGI monster.

What is this movie? I can only remember bits and pieces. It is set during a war but i can't remember which one. There is a young girl and her brother and they are children of a family of status. They live in this large castle like house. But during the war they are separated and its just the girl and her younger brother. At one point the brother is killed by soldiers and put into soup that they eat. The rest of the movie she is trying to find the soldiers who killed her brother. I also remember that at some point she lives with a lady of Asian descent who was close to her family. What is the name of this movie? I've been racking my brain...

This is wierd for me. Several years I was sleeping on the couch and you know how things going on while you are sleeping have a "sub-liminal" effect ? Part of me thinks that there is some sort of message I am (or was) supposed to recieve from this experience. And I can't help but think that if I can just identify what this movie /show was, I can put the experience in a "box" and then not worry about it anymore. So I am asking for some help.

I can't remember much, but the brief 5 or 10 seconds I remember with crystal clarity was the image of a person (probably wearing some sort of a light space-suit) walking across a barren desert landscape. It appeared to be "another planet", so I assume the movie/show was science fiction. It reminds me somewhat of (was it?) Charleton Heston walking across a desert landscape in one of the "Planet of the Apes" movies. (For all I know it WAS one of those movies. I can't say for sure.)

What haunts me was the "voiced over" narrative. It was a woman's voice, and it was if she were speaking to the "spaceman" while he walked across the desert. Either as a voice in his head, or what I cannot say. But what she says was something like "Why did you travel so far, Spaceman ? What did you think you would find ? Arms, to hold you ?"

It was the last line that won't leave me alone. The idea of venturing into terrifying, unknown and probably dangerous places, without even understanding that the reason for this is a search for comfort and love. Rejecting love in a universe that is "known", and choosing instead to try and find it in a dangerous and unknown universe, and not even being aware of why.

So if someone could please help me to identify where this bit of TV experience came from, I would be very appreciative. I've tried running Googly searches for "snatches" of the text I (think I) remember to no result.

I don't remember much, but:

The main guy was played by Christopher Walken or Michael Douglas and he was a spy. His family wanted him to quit his job so he told them he did, but he realy didn't.

yea i heard about this competiton yesterday and i got all the answers but this one 🙁

I'm trying to find two movies I saw when I was a kid (late 80's early 90's). Hope someone can help 🙂

The first one, I distinctly remember some kids running through a maze with stone walls, and I believe they were following arrows, but some creature would come out and change the direction of the arrows.

Also, there was a sci-fi movie I saw which invovled a kid finding a small spaceship and flying around in it. The scene I remember best is where he seems to be spying on his friends. Maybe the floor was see through? Not too sure.

I wish I could offer more details on these movies, but that's all I have.

I'm trying to remember a movie I wacthed as I child in the 80's. The movie couldn't been made in the 70's or 80's.

The movie is part cartoon. What I remember is a young child/children getting pulled into a cartoon underwater world in the beginning of the movie, the movie is than a cartoon and then they are returned to real life at the end.

Looking for two movies both early to mid 80's me thinks.

The first has a scene with a dead woman on a playground I believe, as I recall there is snow on the ground. She bled to death because she had her n***les cut off. I saw this scene when I was young before I was ushered out of the room. I have not been able to figure out what movie it was.

The second I recall watching on more than one occassion or at least it being on frequently. All I remember is a bunch of bad men (kidnappers maybe) and one falls from a barn or grain elevator/silo and splits his head the shot lingers long enough to see brain. Another one that I cannot figure out.

Not really interested in seeing either of these just want to know that I didn't imagine these memories.

Hey all. New here and curious about a movie I saw as a kid. It features muppets and the story revolved around a group of farm animals that each played an instrument. Their owners treated them badly so they ran away together.

I can't recall a whole lot more. Hopefully someone can help me out! 🙂

1 all i remember is that there are these little creatures of monsters, i think they are bluey purple, and when you cut one in half it bubbles and grows back the other half and then you have two monsters. i think i remember someone driving in a car past them and chopping them in half as they go to.

next is more of a drama

2 about this guy, curly brown hair, dies and goes to the afterlife where he has to prove that has overcome all his fears in his life, i remember something about people in the afterlife being able to use more percentage of there brains, everyone on trial like wearing these toga like clothes and a romantic interest which proved her self free of fear when she ran into a burning building to rescue her cat. he finally prove his fearlessness by going for relationship even though he might not be able to prove himself and start his whole life over again (i remember that this scene was on a bus and he yanked the doors open to get to her).

any help is good with these, its driving me nuts!
