Blade Runner: The Final Cut

Blade Runner: The Final Cut

Saw it two days ago. It's in limited release in five North American cities ( New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Toronto.) Not as big a jump as going from the Original to the 1992 Director's Cut, but still some things have changed. Small cuts for time, the Unicorn sequence is longer & intercut, the VFX have been cleaned up and shots rematted, dialogue loop changes to fix mistakes - plus, a never seen shot of gyrating dancers in hockey masks! 😱
I've only seen that shot once, in a British film Magazine back in the early 90's.

I'm getting the HD DVD for Xmas.

I went to the theatre, just so I can say I've seen every version of it in a theatre. This one, the Original Release back in 1982 (when I was a young kid), and the Director's Version in 1992.

That pic used to be on the rental VHS cover (on the back) in the 80s. I always wondered why it wasn't in the movie. There were only 2 or 3 pics on the back. This was one of them.

IS this the Blade Runner(1982) starring HArrison Ford????

Is there any other film out there called BLADE RUNNER?
Yes, the one from 1982. And it looks great.

Well, now it's the 2007 Blade Runner but the footage was shot in 1982, yes. With Harrison Ford. Now co-starring his son.

it was a nice movie. full of suspense action

Full of many good things.

Excellent

I bought the 4/5 disc edition and also the 2 disc Final Cut. Stupid consumerism.

Final Cut my ass. In a couple years from now they'll come out with the Director's next door neighbor's best friend's ex-wife's brother's cut in 3D.

That could get ugly.
