I think the point is that a weakened Galactus loses to earth heroes, yet he's still capable of wiping out solar systems. I think the point is that he's a big jobber yet still gets highly rated here. DS does something similar to a lesser extent (in context of his power level) but get's ridiculed here.

Ds tried to zap him with the omega effect and failed. So its not like Ds didnt try to kill him with the omega. He did it just failed. Before Thanos was amped he was shown to be above Thor and Thing at once. Thor is relative or comparable to Superman and that was when Thanos was at his weakest. Thanos wouldnt need to energy blast Superman but could definitely brawl with him and come out on top. Hes a monster in combat. Supes went down really quick against the cyborg.
You tried to take away from Supermans feats and his good showings against Darkseid.
Cyborg can take out supes, because his basically supes (with less durablity and strength) but with technopathy and Qwardian power rings. The part that's bs though is how easily he takes Supes, should have been a lot harder than that.
And Thanos taking Supes in h2h doesn't mean he'ss stronger or even, more durable than Supes. If he uses energy manipulation to resist damage or augment his attacks it only proves he's more powerful, not stronger or more durable.

Actually, Thanos would lose to Supes in H2H. It's when Thanos starts taking the fight seriously and uses his other powers that he clobbers Supes.
And Borg is uber. He's oneshotted top tiers before. It's not BS how easily he took Supes. Here's why. Borg has none of Superman's weaknesses. He's nigh-immune to physical damage. He's loaded with tech from all over the DCU including New Gods tech. He rarely jobs and uses his power intelligently. Even Supes Blue had trouble fighting him. And he can clone himself and is basically immortal.
How does supes have a prayer of taking 1/10? Disregarding the Superman effect. 😖hifty: Even Avlon, one of the biggest supes fans on here, said that DC wrote themselves into a corner when Henshaw pwned Supes. Which is why it was off-panel when Henshaw got wrecked.

Are you trying to suggest I said Supes takes Henshaw? I'd like to clarify I said no such thing. However, it will only get harder and harder for Henshaw to take Supes - you know, with Supes continued sunlight absorption.

In terms of brute strength, I've read a lot of comic book writers say Supes is stronger than DS. And I have no problem with that because DS can at leasr match him for strength and has more power.
