Firelord would lose but it would be really close. But considering Firelord manipulates all forms of heat and light as he's just the human equivalent of a massive star, he could technically drain Superman dry of his solar energy, or hit him with red sun radiation. But we havent seen Firelord do that so i dont know for sure.
