PLUS the detonations Superman has experienced in the past, ranging from Island devastating nuke attacks while Kal is poisoned with Kryptonite ...easy scans to get, to him absorbing far greater blasts in space. As for it affecting Superman ....well, if you take a small bead, put it into an empty BIC pen tube (a pea shooter), and blow it at my exposed arm.
