Great movie i loved it my niece loved it she is 12 and said it was better than harry potter. I am going to see it again either this weekend or next with my wife.

Why are people harping on the dogs humping?
The dogs humping, Devastator's "balls" and such were, realistically, about half a minute of screen time. If you're judging the whole two and a half hour movie on what amounts to about thirty seconds, then I feel sorry for you.
As for G.I. Joe, it just looks way too generic. Marlon Wayans never did anything for me. The humour, far from being funny, looks to be stupid.
"Careful, those suits cos millions of dollars.", "Millions of dollars, got it!" *Falls out of car*. Oh Marlon, you card. You are being reckless with the suit despite him saying not to!
Also, that guy's Australian accent bothers me.

For once, we agree on something. I didn't want to say anything in the interest of staying on topic.
Just got back from seeing G.I. Joe..
I liked it... the story could've been a little better, but I went in thinking this was mindless, popcorn movie and I was right... The cast Channing Tatum, a little too young for the character of Duke, but he impressed me.. Sienna Miller, I've always enjoyed her work, Rachel Nichols, so pretty, hot and should get good roles know..
Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje, so refreshing to hear him speak in his natural language... Ray Park and Byung-Hun Lee were extraodinaire in their respective roles.. 7.7/10
Also as for Marlon Wayans, I was pleasantly surprised by his performance, because I hate the Wayans

In Transformers 2, Sam's mother now has two dogs and there's a scene where the chihuahua is dry humping the other dog, it's really nothing of interest. The father used it as a jump-point for a joke when Sam was about to go to college, ie "you'll be seeing a lot of that too, son."

I watched the movie the day it was released.
darthmaul1 is right. It is leaps and bounds better than Transformers 2.
A bit cheesy at the beginning, but it gets better in the middle part all the way to the ending.
BTW, you can't compare GI Joe to Transformers 2.
Transformers 2 wasn't really that good to begin with.
It was cheesy all the way through.
I'd rather compare it to DragonBall Evolution than to GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra tbh

Just got back from GIJoe and i'll have to say that this was one sexy ass movie. Definitely better than Transformers 2, imo.
It was crazy faced paced. The hi tech toys, the action, and visuals were just gorgeous. (That car chase scene in Paris has to be one of the best ever made. top 10, imo) Story was good. Marlon Waynes wasn't as annoying as i thought he was gonna be.
I liked Cobra Commander, his mannerisms meaning. But at the end i didn't really like his Uber "Jason X"-like the mask he now wears. For the sequel I'd be cool if he looked a little bit more like the 'toon version with the blue hood with the red cobra logo and that 2-sided metal face plate. Or some variation of it.
But the whole movie had this just, good flow. Loved the Destro and CC locked up scene with the CC revenge monologue as the camera pulled back.
Snake eye was just the best. his story, his fight, his struggle, his look.
i'll give this cool summer flick an 8/10. The movie mostly, almost entirely, didn't remind of GIJoe toons, which is what i was kinda looking for, for it to kinda just offer the feel of the 'toons, but instead we got a couple of phrases the 'toon theme song uses like "Yo Joe!" and "He never gives up" but we can't have everything we want. Still. I recommend the movie.
The movie was superb. Just got back and if I wanted to nitpick it to death I certainly could but the movie was just fantastic. All of the characters were great and so were the actors portraying them. Mindbender included.
The accelerator suit scenes weren't horrible and the costumes during the rest of the movie were great. Scarlett's in particular. She was a great source of joy in the movie. All in all I give it three snaps in z formation.
The only reason I'm even interested in this movie is for Snake Eyes. If the grand Snake Eyes/Storm Shadow fight is not better than this video, then I really have no reason to even see it.
