Agreed and that is why GI JOE was much better cause it didn't try to be more.
It was just updated for the 21st century, and any way what can you expect in a movie based on a cartoon with terrorist trying to take over the world? A kick ass james bond movie on steriods, and that is exactly what we got.

In "Transformers"s case, less. Bay thought "Oh it was just a cartoon", so he made T2 SO stupid that it made the old toy ads look like "Eraserhead"-level in intellect.

Point is is that they were understandibly on there for that long for a reason.

Cobra Commander was shit. He was introduced so pathetically when he was "The Doctor" with that stupid blue monocle.

It was so uneventful, I was almost sure during the movie that he wouldnt' become the commander. Just because he was introduced like "oh and there is this guy doing this stuff."

I saw this movie yesterday and there were subtitles that wouldn't go away. What the heck?

That doctor seemed very intelligent, snaky, a big mouth, kinda cowardly always plotting just like C.C. was in the 'toons.

He was perfect. I never expected it as well and it came as a shock but it's how he was and how he now is according to the story.

Like i said the Jason X mask didn't look too good on CC and his voice was too deep. CC's a squealer. And Destro's face could've been, almost like that of the silver surfer's but with an evil genius, deranged but serious, bad guy look to it. He looks more like a anorexic blad bizzaro or the tinman in a suit.

w/e. i'll still catch the sequel.

I think CC's origin was alright, he did need to squeal a bit more, never gonna forget Chris Latta's work with Starscream and CC, but I'm hoping he wears a full on silver faceplate later on.

Just saw this.

It's better than I expected from reading review scores. Pretty good if you just up for a fun action movie. Lots of great scenes like the one when they wore the accelerator suits. Snakes Eyes was also kickass. Lame ending.

Highlight of the movie goes to the Baroness though. Gosh Sienna Miller is smoking hot.

Acting was sub-par. Casting was terrible. Visual effects were good.

Bottom line, I was unimpressed.

i seen that movie.....and just fantastic movie it was made and all characters they made just to good.....just a perfect movie for youngster ....

Honestly this film was utter dreck with a terrible script that made all of the actors look even worse than they were. I would like to question this blogger on if he focused on the wooden performances because of a terrible script and cheesy effects that was cause by an over budget.

Entertaining popcorn flick with Arnold Vosloo as Zartan being the best. Future movies need Sgt. Slaughter. That is all.

The most memorable characters were Snake Eyes, Stormshadow, and The Baroness. The movie was fun to watch

Zartan sucked, Duke was horrible, I cant stand any of the Wayan Bros, I couldnt stand seeing Brandon in this movie, the accelerator suit is lame, but in some odd way I liked the back stories and the plot. Either way this movie is way better than that pile of shit TF 2. I also didnt like how the said Yo Joe.

I thought the Accelerator suits were badass. Yeah, the "Yo Joe" line was lame. The underwater battle was cool.
