Point is, it's a theory, not a fact, so technically, it's hasn't been "proven" as you claim. So I guess you didn't study all that hard, or you'd know the basics.

That is very true, since we have only evolved from apes, although some have been born with abnormality's or disability's, it will take along time for us to evolve, our climate and conditions are also a factor.
But if the Aquatic life could emerge from the sea, we may change for the better, at the moment we are the most flawed and cruelest creature on the planet.
