i have to read it again course when i was reading that guy was as warlike as orion and his name was o'ryan
K-M- he's referring to Seven Soldiers 1.
Specifically, the New Gods section in which the creation of Aurakles, the first superhero, is created.
The narration says that O'ryan and the other space gods come and build their four great citadels in the course of one night. Those gods are Orion, Metron and Lightray. O'Ryan is a play on that and works in a two fold manner.
Firstly, it's a nod to the old Kirby issues in which Orion told the humans his name and they translated it as o'ryan, since that's a typical last name.
Secondly, it plays with the idea of language, and the names of gods and heroes evolving (like Hercules/Herakles; Morrison does this a lot with his derivations of the true name of Excalibur in the Shining Knight mini and the name of Pegazues rather than Pegasus).
